Do you work in the infant formula industry?

On March 8th, 2023, the FDA released a letter calling for enhanced safety measures for powdered infant formula.  In this letter there was guidance to infant formula manufacturers in relation to Cronobacter incidents in 2022 as follows:
"FDA strongly recommends using WGS (and the public database of genomes available at the National Center for Biotechnology Information) to analyze and investigate any pathogen isolated from a production environment or product". https://www.fda.gov/media/166044/download

In this webinar we:

  • Review this call to action from the FDA.
  • Provide an overview of the technology of whole genome sequencing.
  • Discuss the benefits of whole genome sequencing.
  • Review the ways that Eurofins is ready to support your testing needs.
  • Hold a live Q&A session
