Darryl Sullivan is the Chief Science Officer for Eurofins Scientific. Mr. Sullivan acts as a consultant for companies who need help meeting scientific and regulatory requirements. In this role he is often called upon as an expert witness for litigation and dispute resolution. He is considered an international expert in the analysis of infant formula and dietary supplements and represents Eurofins in many areas of the scientific and regulatory communities. Mr. Sullivan is a delegate to Codex Alimentarius and actively participates in the Codex Nutrition Committee (CCNFSDU) and the Methods Committee (CCMAS).
Mr. Sullivan has more than 40 years of experience in laboratory testing. He is an expert in the field of validation of analytical methods, having served for three years as Chair of the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Official Methods Board. He is the Past President and Secretary of the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Board of Directors. Mr. Sullivan was most recently a Director on the IFT Board. He is also a past member of the USP Expert Committee for Dietary Supplements. Mr. Sullivan is currently the Chair of the ACIL Dietary Supplement Working Group and Vice-Chair of the Food Science Section. Mr. Sullivan has developed and validated hundreds of analytical methods in the areas of nutrient and residue analysis and is the author of more than 75 publications and 100’s of scientific presentations.

Deborah McKenzie, MS, is the Deputy Assistant Executive Director and Chief Standards Officer at AOAC INTERNATIONAL. With more than 20 years working, developing and leading AOAC method programs, she is currently responsible for leading the implementation and execution of AOAC’s standards strategy and development of AOAC’s consensus standards and method portfolios including the Official MethodsSM program. She oversees the development of scientific and technical policy and guidance and oversee the recruitment and retention of AOAC’s scientific and technical subject matter expert volunteer base. Additionally, Deborah is the Administrator of the ANSI-accredited US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO/TC 34 (Food products).
Prior to joining AOAC, Deborah was a chemistry teacher/STEM educator, and served as co-PI for state and federally funded grants for student and teacher development in STEM education with a focus on underserved communities. Deborah holds M.S. and B.A. degrees in Chemistry from SUNY Oswego and Syracuse University respectively and she also a certificate of rabbinic ordination. Deborah is member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), Society for Standards Professionals (SES), and AOAC INTERNATIONAL.

Emily Rose Britton, PhD is a technical market development leader with over seven years of experience in combining analytical chemistry, dietary supplement and natural product science, US regulations, market research and consumer trends into actionable strategies to drive business growth. Emily earned her PhD in Medicinal Biochemistry from UNC Greensboro, where she investigated techniques to identify synergists in botanical medicines. After completing her doctorate, she transitioned from the laboratory to business development and joined Waters Corporation, a leading analytical instrumentation innovator. Over six years, she established herself as a subject matter expert and was promoted to oversee the food and natural products markets in the Americas. Through developing internal educational programs, engaging actively with industry stakeholders, and creating relevant and engaging messaging, Emily facilitated record-breaking sales growth and bolstered Waters' industry leadership.
In June 2024, Emily followed her passion for dietary supplements by joining the USP Verification team. In her current role, she cultivates and strengthens relationships with dietary supplement manufacturers, brands, retailers and industry experts, aiming to enhance consumer access to trusted quality USP Verified dietary supplements.

Jeff Stassi is the Sr. Analytical Service Manager for Dietary Supplement Testing Services at Eurofins. Mr. Stassi has 39 years of experience in laboratory operations management, analytical testing, and method validation activities. Jeff is well-versed in consulting with dietary supplement brands and manufacturers to create a cost-effective, risk-based approach to testing that meet all the scientific rigor and applicable regulatory requirements. Jeff has also been instrumental in developing internal programs and strategies to provide testing solutions to align with the Amazon Dietary Supplement Policy.
