Meet the Presenter

David Ellingson

Director of Scientific Strategy, Nutrients Laboratory
Eurofins Food Chemistry Testing Madison, Inc.

David Ellingson is the Director of Scientific Strategy focused on Nutrients for Eurofins Food Chemistry Testing in Madison, WI. David leads initiatives in method development, process optimization, and automation. Over his 18 years with Eurofins, he has advanced from a Special Analysis chemist to key leadership roles, including Global Analyte Leader and Technical Manager for Nutrients. 

David has played a central role in modernizing analytical methods across Special Analysis, Vitamins, Inorganics, and Nutrients, and has been an active contributor to AOAC for more than 15 years. His expertise in ion chromatography and carbohydrate chemistry has strengthened Eurofins’ capabilities, culminating in the development of the Sugar Profile by IC method, adopted as an Official AOAC Final Action Method in 2022.
